Jesus Christ, the Son of God did not come to earth physically to start church. This is because, church has started before He came. He did not come to start a new religion. He did not come to tell people what to wear and what not to wear, what to eat, drink, days to observe holy, time to pray, etc.
Jesus Christ came to earth (Jesus became flesh) for one main purpose. That is, “THAT HUMAN BEING MAY HAVE ABUNDANT OR ETERNAL LIFE ON EARTH”. Jesus said “….., I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
As we try to answer the above question, it has pop up another good question of: HOW CAN A RIGHTEOUS AND MOST HOLY GOD HAVE HIS KIND OF LIFE/ LIVE IN HUMAN BEINGS? How on earth or possible could this be?
A scripture said “with human being, it is impossible but with God, all things are possible”.
Answer: Originally, God created human being in His image to be like Him. Gen. 1:26-28. And God is a Spirit. From the time God created human, human being was existing and functioning only as a spirit like God who does not have flesh.
Redemption PlanThe Called One or Chosen One?
When God want people to perform their functions He (God) gave human beings in Genesis 1:28, He decided to give human being a body (container) that will carry the content (human spirit) to be able to exist physically on earth so as to do physical things. In Genesis 2:7, God gave/ put human being in container. “then the LORD God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit].” Gen. 2:7 Amplified Bible
Note: at this stage, the content inside human body is God’s life. Human being became flesh.
How Human Being Lost God’s Life
God told Adam, any day you disobey my Word, you will die (My life will leave you). Ezekiel 18:20 “The soul who sins shall die. ..” and scripture confirmed in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
So, when Adam and Eve (our fore parents) sinned as Genesis 3:1-6 tells, they died. They did not instantly die physically but instantly died spiritually and later died physically. This is because both life and death start from the spirit. The death Bible is talking here is God’s Spirit leaving human body (spiritual).
When Devil aborted God’s original plan of His spirit living in human being’s body through human being permission, God revealed His eternal plan to rescue human and for His spirit to come back to live in human body again. Gen. 3:15
“And I will put enmity (open hostility) Between you and the woman, And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, And you shall [only] bruise His heel.” Amplified Bible

“Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, …. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. …” Romans 5:18-19.
Jesus Christ Come to Earth for This One Reason
Jesus said “… I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
God can only give sinful people His Life only when He cleans them and makes them righteous. And there is a price to pay for sinful people on earth to have God’s Life to be in them.
And the wages of sin is death, bible say so. Someone need to die eternally for another to her eternal life. So, Jesus died for the world’s sins and anybody who accept Him will have the LIFE of God.
How Can Sinful Person Receive God’s Righteous?
The first thing God does to any person who receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior is to take away the person’s sin.
John the Baptist in John 1:29 saw Jesus coming and said “The Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world”.
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. “…my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins.” Isaiah 53:11. “… Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.” Col. 2:13
Any person who have accepted Jesus has God’s righteous life/ Spirit in him/her. First John explained it plainly that Anybody who have Jesus in him/her have Eternal life (God’s life). 1 John 5:11 – 13.
And because many believers who have accepted Christ does not know that they have this God’s kind of life here on earth, verse 13 state “I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.”
This is not how you feel or what you think but, it is believing what God said that it is true and not a story.
