In this post, we are not going to give you ways to control or manage sin, we are providing you with permanent cure/ power to overcome sin and temptation forever in your life by God’s grace. If you can follow well to the end of this post, you will receive wisdom to overcome sin and sin consciousness. You will also receive the supernatural grace to live all round victory life at all time, anywhere in the world. Jesus said the good seed that bear fruit is the heart that understand the Word. You are not a sinner just because you fornicate, kill, steal etc, you are a sinner by nature.
Many have tried all they could to stop some life styles they see as sin in their life severally but later go back to the life style. Others have managed to stop the sins people noticed in public but are seriously fighting with the secret once. Some have tried to live good moral life as much as they could and society are respecting them for that.
However, it is the searching for cure for sin and sin consciousness by human beings has led to thousands of religions we see in our world today. People are trying to find a cure for sin and sin consciousness on their own efforts. This has led many into many rituals and all kinds of spiritisms.
We have preached to sinners to stop fornication, drinking, harlot and many other lifestyles. The question is “can he/she really stop it?” Telling a sinner to stop sinning is like telling a pig to stop to eat in dirty place. Can pig do that?
Blood of animals was used for covering of sin but the blood of Jesus Christ is for remission of sins. Complete wipe away, put out of existence.
Sometimes, we have worsened peoples situation by taken away their succor without providing them an alternative. Trying to stop a man or woman who uses alcohol to manage his/her life without providing a better alternative may worsen the situation in that people’s life.
The first thing everybody should know about sin is “Sin is spiritual nature everybody on earth inherited”.
Anyone you want to help to stop to live a life of sin, the best solution that has proven efficiently and brought total cure for sin is to change the person’s sin nature.
It is not just because you fornicate, kill, steal etc that made you a sinner, you are a sinner by nature. Everybody on earth inherited it from fore parent Adam and Eve. And if you are not killing and do other evil against the society, you can only be called a good sinner with sin nature and it’s consciousness inwardly.
How Power to Overcome Sin & Temptation Comes
There is only one medium the power to overcome sin and its temptation comes to everybody on earth and the sin nature to be change. That is through Remission of sin through Jesus Christ death. Remission of sin means complete wipe out of sin. No more in existence.
There is one foundation of faith that many Christians are confusing about and that is to know the difference between ATONEMENT OF SIN and REMISSION OF SIN. People who existed before the death of Jesus Christ only had atonement of sins with the blood of animals. That is, covering sins with the blood of animals.
ATONEMENT means: the action of making amends for a wrong or injury or covering of sin. But the blood of Jesus Christ is not for atonement of sins but for remission of sins. The Old Testament saints anticipated the death of Christ for their sins by offering animal sacrifices. The sinner was forgiven only after the priest offered the bloody sacrifice anticipating the death of Christ for sin (Leviticus 4:20, 26, 31, 35; 5:10, 13, 16, 18; 6:7; 19:22; Numbers 15:22-28).
What is remission of sins?
God used the blood of Jesus to remit everybody who believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection sacrifice. God completely wipe away the sins of anybody who believe in Jesus Christ. He put all out of existence and He said He will not remember it again. It is after the death of Jesus Christ that those who believe in Him was made right with God through the Christ’s blood.
Almost the time Jesus want to go back to heaven after His resurrection, He said “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem”. Luke 24:47
Permanently Cure for Sin and Sin Consciousness
God provided permanent cure for sin and sin consciousness in Christ Jesus through faith. What happened in Matthew 27:16 – 22 physically is what God did with Jesus for everyone spiritually.
At that time they were holding a notorious prisoner named Barabbas. So when the crowd had assembled, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?” For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him. While Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him this message: “Have nothing to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered terribly in a dream today because of Him.” But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus put to death. “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor. “ Barabbas,” they replied. “What then should I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify Him!”
The spiritual interpretation of what trespassed when God allowed Jesus to be crucified on the cross in 2 Corinthians 5:21.
NIV: “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God”. NLT: “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ”. AMPLIFIED: “He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]”. Contemporary English: “Christ never sinned! But God treated him as a sinner, so Christ could make us acceptable to God”.
Believing that God did not lie in the above bible verse and to apply it to yourself is the permanent cure for Sin and Sin Consciousness.
How to apply it to your life and it will start working for you is very simple. Believe in your heart that Jesus died for your past sins and open your mouth and confess this “Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want You to be my Lord and Savior from now. In Jesus name I prayed, amen”.
If you have prayed this prayer, start to talk and see yourself as somebody God has put Jesus’ righteousness upon. Your face, shape, address and income may still be the same but spiritually, you are a brow now person before God. And all the bad things you did is completely wipe away and put out of existence and God said He will not remember it again. Joyfully live your new life in this clean slate. They are all from God as a gift and not what you can do or have done for yourself.
See it for yourself how bible explained it: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, …” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast”.
This remission of your sin that God did was not a co-incident. The death and resurrection of Jesus was planned by God before He created the world. Revelation 13:8
Look at how it was revealed to Isaiah the prophet in Isaiah 53:10 NLT “But it was the LORD’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the LORD’s good plan will prosper in his hands.”
Go ahead to do and continue to do what the Jailer did in Acts 16:33-34 and what the Eunuch, Ethiopians Minister of Finance did in Acts 8:37-40.
